Combined Class of Estimators for Ratio and Product of Two Population Means in Presence of Non-Response

Abstract

In this paper, we have proposed a combined class of estimators for ratio and product of two population means using auxiliary character in presence of non-response and studied their properties. The specified conditions under which the members of proposed class of estimators attain minimum mean square error have been obtained. Comparison of the proposed class of estimators with the relevant estimators has been carried out. We have also given an empirical study which shows that the members of the proposed class of estimators are more efficient than the conventional estimators.
