Double Sampling Chain Ratio cum Product Type Estimator in the Presence of Non-Response

Yater Tato, B.K. Singh

Double sampling chain ratio cum product type estimators for the population mean of the study variable using two auxiliary characters under double sampling scheme has been proposed in the presence of non-response, when the information on another additional auxiliary character is
available along with the main auxiliary character. The expressions for the bias mean square error (MSE) of the estimator in the two different cases of non-response have been obtained. A comparison has been made with the existing similar estimators theoretically and numerically to
demonstrate the superiority of the proposed estimator.
