A Study of Length Biased Weighted Nakagami Distribution
The Length Biased Weighted Nakagami Distribution is derived in this paper from Nakagami distribution by using Fisher’s procedure of weighting. Various properties of this distribution are found that include hazard rate and Shannon entropy. The estimation of its scale and shape
parameters by MLE is discussed through simulation procedures. Bayesian estimates of this parameter based on a uniform prior distribution are presented, and their performance is assessed. The proposed distribution is applied to two real data sets.
