A Linear Estimation Procedure Using Super Population Model in Two-Occasion Successive Sampling under Non-Response

M. Khetan, G. N. Singh, P. Verma

Abstract

In presence of non-response, we assess the suggested estimator under super population model in two-occasion successive sampling. Expression of expected variance of the suggested estimator has been derived and related optimum replacement strategy is also discussed. Empirical study is
carried out to demonstrate the performance of the estimator. Suitable recommendations have been made.

Keywords

Super population model, non-response, successive sampling, expected variance, optimum replacement strategy.
