A General Family of Factor-Type Estimators of Population Mean in the Presence of Non-Response and Measurement Errors
Abstract
This paper introduces a general family of factor-type estimators of the population mean using the information on an auxiliary variable in the simultaneous presence of non-response and measurement errors. The properties of the proposed family have been discussed in detail. The optimum estimator of the proposed family has also been pioneered out. The efficiency of the optimum estimator has been compared with that of some other existing estimators. An empirical study has also been carried out to demonstrate the theoretical
results.
