Construction of Nearly Orthogonal Arrays Mappable into Fully Orthogonal Arrays of Strength Two and Three

Mukerjee et al. (2014) have given the concept of nearly orthogonal arrays which are mappable into fully orthogonal arrays and developed a method of construction of nearly orthogonal arrays which are mappable into fully orthogonal arrays of strength two. In this paper we propose a method for the construction of nearly mappable orthogonal arrays of strength two and three. The method utilizes a symmetric orthogonal array and a difference matrix with same number of levels of factors. The constructed arrays are cataloged and compared with existing arrays.
