Calibration Estimator in presence of Measurement Errors on Successive Occasions

Kumari Priyanka, Pidugu Trisandhya

Abstract

In the present work, the problem of estimation of population mean at current occasion in two occasion successive sampling using calibration estimator in presence of measurement errors has been considered. General sampling design has been used on two occasions with the application to the simple random sampling under measurement errors. The properties of proposed estimators has been discussed. The proposed estimators has been
compared mutually and also with corresponding direct version. Simulation studies on real published data has been carried out for justifying the applicability of the proposed estimators.
