Approximate methods for a family of fractional differential equations

Abstract



In this paper, an approximate method for solving a family fractional differential equations is presented. The fractional derivatives are described in the Caputo sense. We first convert the differential equation to the algebraic equation by Laplace transform. Then we find numerical inversion of Laplace transform by power series. The method is described and
illustrated with numerical examples. The results reveal that the method is accurate and easy to implement.
