An Automatic Generation Scheme of Route Based on Inland ENC

He Wei, Li Tao

Abstract

Based on the Yangtze River waterway Electronic Navigational Chart(ENC), we proposed a ship routes generated algorithm dynamically by narrowing the search area. Firstly, we extract the non-navigational region which may affect the design of the navigational route. Then we establish a buffer to use the reverse method automatically searches for the shortest route. In accordance with the changing position of the ship, it dynamically updates part of waypoints. Finally, we develop the rout generation algorithm in VC+ +, the experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has satisfied performance.
