Simulation of the Wireless Networked Control Systems Based on Fuzzy Immune PID-Smith Controller

Huang Yourui, Sun Xiaoxi, Chen Zhenping, Tang Chaoli

Abstract

In the wireless network control system, due to the introduction of wireless network, some inevitable issues such as network-induced delay, packet losses appear. The existence of these issues affects the performance of the control system, and may even destabilize the control system. For the problem of delay, a novel method which combines fuzzy immune with an improved Smith compensation was proposed to control the WNCSs, and a fuzzy immune PID controller with the improved structure of Smith forecast compensation was designed; finally the simulation of the system was carried on. The results of the simulation show that the control strategy used for wireless network control system is effective, and puts up a very good control effect not only on the optimization to the whole system but also on reducing stochastic, time-varying and uncertain impact of the system packet loss and delay.
