Synchronization for a class of multi-scroll chaotic systems via sliding mode control

In this paper, the synchronization problem of two multi-scroll chaotic systems is investigated by means of sliding mode control technique. The multi-scroll chaotic system we considered is generated by two hyperchaotic coupled Chuas system. A simple but effective sliding mode surface is proposed and the system stabilization is discussed base on Liyapunov stabilization theory. Finally, numerical simulations are carried out to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
