The Boundary Value Problems for Fractional Ordinary Differential Equations with Robin Boundary Conditions

Jun-Sheng Duan

Abstract

In this work we generalize the modified Adomian decomposition method (ADM) for the boundary value problems (BVPs) for the integer-ordered differential equations to the BVPs for linear or nonlinear fractional differential equations with the Robin boundary conditions. First we convert the BVP for fractional differential equations into an equivalent integral equation about the solution, then we introduce the modified recursion scheme in the ADM to solve the integral equation. The approximate analytical solutions obtained can be verified by direct substitution. Numerical examples further show the proposed method.
