Assessment of Impervious Surface Area and Surface Urban Heat Island: A Case Study

Abstract



This work highlights geospatial technologies as an integral part of all decisions where natural environment plays an important role. It sets out a key expected change arising from the replacement of the natural environment with impervious layers by exploring surface urban heat island (SUHI) effects as potential environmental impacts of such layers.
