Measuring System-Wide Eco-Efficiency in New Zealand

This paper aims to measure system-wide sectoral ecoefficiencies in New Zealand. Such measures are urgently needed in New Zealand to complement the existing monitouring activities of policy agencies. System measures of eco-efficiency are important. They help to provide information on the degree of interdependency between sectors of the economy. aim to provide policy makers with a more complete picture of eco-efficiency that they currently get.
