A Mathematical Model to Study the Effect of Environmental Tax for CO2 on the Forestry Biomass Depleted by Industrialization

Manju Agarwal, Niharika Verma

Abstract

A mathematical model is formulated using the system of non-linear differential equations for the control of increasing CO2 in the atmosphere with holing type second functional response. It is assumed that density of forestry biomass and industries are propagates logistically and the emission rate of carbon-dioxide is depend on industries. Further, we have taken that the environmental tax imposed only when the concentration of CO2 crosses its limit. Conditions for the local stability and global stability of the system are obtained using the stability theory of differential equations. We also found that system is persist under certain conditions. Finally, we illustrated our result by numerical simulation.

Keywords

Mathematical model, carbon-dioxide gas, industries, environmental tax.
