Strategic Prospects for the Development of Glass Products Market and the Field of Glass Recycling in Ukraine
Abstract
The authors of the paper analyze the strategic prospects for the development of glass materials market, as well as identify the ways of solution of the important problem of recycling glass waste in Ukraine. The special attention is paid to the economic potential of the “triplex” glass production. The economic efficiency of the work of the major Ukrainian glass manufacturers is analyzed. Besides, the statistics of glass import and export deliveries are given. The prognosis of glass industry development in Ukraine is proposed. The main problems of glass waste management system are identified, and the ways of their solution are offered at the legislative, economic and social levels.
