An Efficient Exponential Ratio-type Estimator in Post-Stratification Using Variable Transformation
Following Tailor and Tailor , we propose an exponential ratio-type estimator in post-stratified sampling using variable transformation. The proposed estimator, under certain conditions are shown to be more efficient than some existing estimators, including the usual post-stratified estimator, separate ratio-type estimator for estimating the population mean of the variable under study variable in case of post-stratification, usual dual to separate ratio-type estimator in case of post-stratification, Chouhan and Lone and Tailor . The efficiency of the proposed estimator has also shown through numerical illustrations.
Disclaimer/Regarding indexing issue:
We have provided the online access of all issues and papers to the indexing agencies (as given on journal web site). It’s depend on indexing agencies when, how and what manner they can index or not. Hence, we like to inform that on the basis of earlier indexing, we can’t predict the today or future indexing policy of third party (i.e. indexing agencies) as they have right to discontinue any journal at any time without prior information to the journal.
