An Empirical Framework for Auto-Filling Web Forms Using The Linked Data Approach

Abstract



In this modern era, Web Services have become the lifeline for the end users. Many different types of online services on the web offers several tasks where end users often have to fill form from their side as a crucial step for completing any kind of ad hoc process. In this paper, an intelligent technique for auto-filling web forms for users has been proposed that uses linked data approach and collects user input from different web forms and determines user's usage pattern, categorizes user input by identifying their type and context. The ontology has been created by surveying top government job recruitment portals. This repository also stores any new information filled by the end user in the online web forms. Two surveys have been conducted in which the first one was done to analyze the persistent input properties in web forms and the other was done check for unique parameters in the web-forms of different domains.
