Evaluation and Selection of Corporate HR Management Information System Based on Interval Numbers TOPSIS Method

Li Xiaofei

Abstract

To evaluate and select an HR management system in the current market, many aspects have to be taken into consideration. TOPSIS Method is a typical approach for multi-attribute decision problems. The thesis extends the TOPSIS Method with interval numbers. Interval number TOPSIS method is used to evaluate corporate HR management systems to reduce subjectivity and arbitrariness during evaluation. Moreover, under the condition of no significant difference among all evaluation indexes, the idea of maximizing deviation is adopted to decide weights based on the differences of index scores. Therefore, weights are more objective and scientific. Case studies have proved the Methods' feasibility and validity.

Keywords

Information system, multi-attribute decision, interval numbers, maximizing deviation.
