Comprehensive Appraisal of Urbanization Quality Using Grey-Fuzzy Approach and Entropy Value Method
Based on the connotation of urbanization quality, the paper constructed index system from seven aspects, such as economic development, residents’ life, social development, population development, infrastructure, ecological environment and urban-rural integration; and then taking ZJ as an example comprehensively measured the urbanization quality using grey-fuzzy approach and entropy value method. The results suggested that: firstly, the advancement of urbanization quality slightly lags behind urbanization speed; secondly, the difference of urbanization quality score is obvious, and the overall quality is not high; thirdly, there is no inevitable relationship between urbanization quality and urban scale as well as population urbanization level; fourthly, the seven aspects of urbanization quality is not balanced, especially the quality of urban-rural integration desperately needs to be improved. The implications for our finds on future research and practice are considered at last.
