Volleyball Games Prediction and Evaluation Model by Homogeneous Markov Chain Based on Fuzzy Neural Network

Jinglong Ding

Abstract

Volley ball is one of the most popular sports in the world. It can be from relaxing to intense, thus it is welcome by people of different age and sex, as well as of various physique and amount of exercise. For the volleyball games, the results are what people care more. So it is important that the game can be simulated or even predicted. This paper analyses the current situation of a volleyball team by data mining theory, and predicts its trend of development. It further predicts the game results based on previous findings. Also, this paper presents some arguable conclusions in prediction of the trend of games by homogeneous Markov model. That is to prove that a good volleyball team's condition is stable. The fuzziness of the games is also considered. Therefore, the paper put forward two evaluation models by RBF Neural Network Model and Data Envelopment Analysis, based on theory of fuzzy mathematics.
