Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation of Fire Safety Risk of Historic Buildings Based on Fuzzy Mathematics

Kanhua Yu

Abstract

Fuzzy mathematical method can well combine comprehensive evaluation method, quantitative analysis and “the maximum membership degree” in fuzzy mathematics for evaluation. Thus, there is a reliable quantitative analysis method for the features of those fuzzy things. In recent years, frequent historic building fires have caused people’s attention to historic building protection and evaluation of fire safety of historic buildings. From the perspective of fire safety risk of historic buildings, this paper applies fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to extract risk factors of evaluation of fire safety of historic buildings and evaluates temple group of a city in China. The evaluation results show the fire safety risk of this building group is large and that fire protection of this building group should be enhanced. Besides, this paper puts forward corresponding protection measures. Meanwhile, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation can well evaluate fire safety risk of historic buildings and provides a reliable tool for general investigation of fire control of historic buildings and change of software and hardware conditions of fire control.
