Target Contour Location Accuracy Optimization in Fatigue Driving using ASM Matching Algorithm

Qiufen Yang, Huosheng Hu, Weihua Gui

Abstract

Due to its great application value and closely related to the safety, fatigue driving detection system has been a hot research all the time. In response to this problem, this paper optimizes the fatigue driving detection system focusing on the improvement of target contour positioning accuracy of ASM matching algorithm. ASM is a separable and deformable model based on statistical shape and can model any object shape, especially in the object contour detection in fatigue driving. This paper strengthens this effect mainly in the gray matching of image matching process. Simulation results show that, the improved ASM matching algorithm proposed in this paper shows better optimization performance with higher precision and speed than the general algorithms.

Keywords

fatigue driving, ASM matching algorithm, target location.
