Analysis and Prediction of Hurdle Race Result Based on Multi-Methods Combination

Yanping Tang, Guanghui Li

Abstract

In order to improve the accuracy and rationality of hurdle race result’s development situation analysis and prediction, the paper uses the combined method of grey theory and grey prediction to predict the results of the competition. It first analyzes in detail the grey theory model and grey generation algorithm, and then elaborates the prediction steps, and finally uses the score of 110 m hurdles in recent four national games as an input to carry out the prediction simulation on this project performance of 12th. Experiments show that the algorithm of a certain research significance has a high prediction precision and a small mean square error and can carry out the residual error correction.

Keywords
