Chaos Control Algorithm via Variable Universe Fuzzy Controller in Automatic Gauge System

Abstract


In this paper, mill eccentric model is established. New idea is proposed that roll eccentricity disturbance on gauge may cause chaos under certain system parameters during rolling. A new variable universe fuzzy controller HACO-VUFC is proposed to control the chaotic system. The new controller is based on improved ant colony optimization algorithm to overcome the contradiction between fuzzy control rules and control accuracy. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the approach.
