Test and Measure on Difference of Marginal Homogeneity between Several Square Contingency Tables
For square contingency tables with nominal categories, Tomizawa and Makii (2001) considered measures of degree of departure from the marginal homogeneity model. The present paper proposes (1) the statistic to test the equality of degree of departure from the marginal homogeneity model and (2) the measure to represent the difference of degree of departure from the marginal homogeneity model between several square contingency tables. The test and measure are applied to father-son occupational status data in Japan.
