B. Yong, N. A. Samat

Abstract

A mathematical model is an abstract model that uses mathematical language to describe the behavior of a system. Mathematical models are not only used in the natural sciences and engineering disciplines such as biology and electrical engineering, but also in the social sciences such as politics. In this research, we study about SIRS transmission model to describe the spread of the voters in political figure fever, such as Jokowi. The model will be analyzed in both the presence and the absence of media. The threshold condition of Jokowi fever is found and numerical results are shown to confirm the analytical results.
