Abstract

To conduct scientific and systematic evaluation of young tennis athletes’ physical fitness, this study establishes the combination model of physical fitness evaluation for young tennis athletes with analytic hierarchy process and TOPSIS comprehensive evaluation method. Determine the weights of each layer indexes and the combination weights of the bottom layer indexes in analytic hierarchy process. Conduct comprehensive evaluation of the physical fitness for different young tennis athletes based on TOPSIS method. The research results show that, this evaluation authentically reflects the comprehensive situation of the physical fitness for each athlete. This evaluation model provides a new way of thinking for the physical fitness evaluation of young tennis athletes, and benefits for the coaches and young tennis athletes to timely monitor, regulate and control the training process.
