Dufour and Soret Effects on Free Convection Flow of Nanofluid past a Power Law Stretching Sheet

M.I. Anwar, S. Sharidan, I. Khan, A. Ali, M. Z. Salleh

Abstract

nanofluid past a power law stretching sheet. By using appropriate similarity transformations, the governing nonlinear partial differential equations are transformed into dimensionless coupled system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations. An implicit finite difference scheme known as the Keller-box method is used for the numerical solution. The obtained numerical results are presented in tabular and graphical forms to show the effects of different parameters on temperature and concentration fields. The effects of these physical parameters on reduced Nusselt number and reduced Sherwood number are also studied.
