Analysis on the Relationship of Financial Revenue, Expenditure and GDP: A Case Study of China

Abstract


GDP is an important indicator of economic growth level in a country or region, while the financial standing is an important factor of government intervention in the economy. The ratio between them is an important parameter to measure the economic operation quality of a region. In this paper, author makes use of China’s recent data to explore the relationship between fiscal revenues and expenditure and GDP. Through the analysis of existing law between them, suggestions are put forward on promoting sustainable development of fiscal revenue and expenditure and GDP in China, aiming at providing reference information for the effective allocation of resources, adjusting industrial structure and establishing feasible tax policy for the government.
