Dynamics of a Prey Predator and Competitor Model With Time Delay

This paper deals with the stability analysis of a three species ecological model with a Prey, Predator and competitor. The competitor is competing with both the Prey and predator .The predator and competitor have alternative food resources other than prey. A time delay is proposed in the interaction between the predator and the competitor. The model is characterized by system of integro- differential equations. Further equilibrium points are derived. The Global stability of the system is discussed by constructing suitable Lyapunov’s function. Finally Numerical simulation is performed to study the delay effect that can cause a switch from unstable to stable or stable to unstable leads hopf bifurcation.
