Management and Arrangement of Water Resources in Semi-arid Region of Wadi Mellegue in Algeria.

Abstract



The degradation of the environment and the healthy water shortage are major obstacles to sustainable development convenient to the work and life.In Algeria, the water is more and more precious resource.
The competition that are engaged the agriculture, the industry and the drinking water supply to have access to availability limited in water already burdens the efforts of development of numerous countries.
The current situation is characterized by an imbalance between needs and available resources. The population growth and the economic and social development of the country led during the last two old decades cause a considerable increase of drinking water requirements, industrial and agricultural.
The importance of the water as support of life and regulating factor of development of country is universally recognized. Therefore,it is necessary to quantify and manage it as strictly as possible. In the region of Tebessa, in Algeria, the deficits in the drinkable water supply life not only in water resources, but also in management of these resources. The urgent measures were taken whose food of the region has to leave several hydraulic works.
The management of the water by favoring a better harmonization between the diverse needs and the interests of the human communities and those of the aquatic ecosystems.
It integrates the protection of the public health, the safety of the populations and their properties the protection of the crowd and the restoration of housing environments. Furthermore, it aims at a fair division of the aquatic resources between the various users, in a prospect of sustainable development.
The purpose looked for by the present work is to bring information on the potentialities of the superficial water resources, and on the most convenient way for their exploitation, in it under pond paying of Oued Mellegue approval
