Developing the Potential of Agro-Ecotourism in Territorial Communities

Abstract



The article examines the resource potential for the development of agro-ecotourism using the example of the Petropavlivska rural territorial community of the Odesa region (Ukraine). The purpose of the work is to consider the possibilities of activating the tourism sector, as well as to conduct modeling and forecasting the community development budget to determine sources of financing for agro-ecotourism infrastructure projects and attracting tourists to ecological routes in the region. The application of territorial, statistical, and financial analysis methods made it possible to identify ways to optimize the revenue part and increase the efficiency of local budget expenditures. A mathematical model for assessing investment capacity based on the analysis of the execution of community budget indicators has been developed. This made it possible to form a forecasted volume of the development budget for further substantiation of managerial decisions on the creation of an integrated tourism product based on interterritorial partnership. The practical significance of the results lies in the possibility of using the proposed approach to ensure the financial sustainability of rural areas through economic diversification and the development of agro-ecotourism potential.
