Modeling of Weather Characteristics in Jordan

The characteristics of weather conditions and wind speed in Jordan over a period of 45 years (1960- 2005) are studied and modeled. The study involves temperature, relative humidity, fog, wind speed, and dust storms to reach the best predictions of the weather behavior in Jordan for renewable energy utilization. A regression analysis is carried out by using the linear regression technique to model the weather parameters. The present mathematical model can be used in any study related to weather behavior in any region in the world, and for climate change prediction.
