Net Zero House: EU Experience in Ukrainian Conditions

Abstract


The paper deals with economic justification of Net zero building in Ukrainian conditions. The authors analyse the main approaches to define the Net zero building. On this basis, the main features, parameters and principles of Net zero building were allocated by the authors. Besides, they indicated the main restrictions of developing the Net zero building in Ukraine. According to the EU experience the authors propose the incentive directions for developing the Net zero building. With this purpose authors try to make the economic justification of solar installation in Ukrainian conditions. The authors analysed and allocated the main players at the market of solar collectors. They estimated the payback period of two type of producers. In addition, they calculated the payback period for different power of solar collectors and energy consumption by the households. According to the results, in conclusion, the authors allocated the possible ways to attract attention of the civil society with purpose to provide, implement and develop the Net zero building in Ukraine.
