A Clustering Segmentation Algorithm Based on Competitive Mechanism for High-resolution Images

Jingwen Zuo, Yuantao Chen, Yang Zhang

Abstract

Robotics technology has been more and more widely used and rapid development in recent years. The core issues of it are the object extraction and real time. The new clustering segmentation algorithm for high resolution images has been proposed. The method make mean shift clustering algorithm combined with competitive mechanism, and it is based on the size of the data point energy, identify classes and class member representative point. The competition mechanism between the data points has identified the most capable one to become a member of the clusters of data points. The experimental comparison results show that the method can achieve the goal of high-resolution image segmentation and get better effect. It is high efficient and suitable for high-resolution digital image segmentation.

Keywords

mean shift clustering algorithm, image segmentation, representative point, high-resolution images.
