Comparative Analysis between Analytic Hierarchy Process and Interval Analytic Hierarchy Process

Xinchun Wang, LiziYin

Abstract

In order to make decision for complicated problems, this paper mainly applied analytic hierarchy process and interval analytic hierarchy process to analyze judgment matrixes of different decision-makers, with the results of corresponding judgment matrix and interval judgment matrix, and then applied eigenvalue method and the models of the least upper approximation and the greatest lower approximation based on the interval regression analysis to solve the weights and consistency for those matrixes. Finally, it showed the differences between the two analysis methods in applications by numerical analysis, which provided more objective and rational decision-making bases for decisionmakers in different contexts.

Keywords
