Combined Influence of Thermal Diffusion and Diffusion Thermo on Radiating and Rotating Laminar Flow in Presence of Magnetic Field and Jeffrey Fluid Through Finite Element Solutions

NVN Babu, G. Murali, S.M. Bhati

Abstract

The present analysis examines the combined effects of thermal diffusion and diffusion thermo on unsteady magnetohydrodynamic Jeffrey fluid rotating streamline flow in presence of thermal radiation towards a vertical plate with free convection. Numerical solutions are obtained when simplification and appropriate consideration. The basic governing equations area solved numerically by efficient finite element technique. For this investigation, the effects of various dimensionless parameters like Grashof number for heat and mass transfer, fieldparameter, Soret number, Dufour number, Thermal radiation parameter, Jeffrey fluid parameter, Porous medium parameter, Rotation parameter, chemical reaction parameter, Time, Prandtl number, Heat absorption parameter on velocity Schmidt number temperature and concentration profiles along with the friction factor, local Nusselt and Sherwood numbers are discussed with the help of graphs. Comparisons of these results complete with the existed studies and found an excellent agreement under some special limited cases
