Radu-Emil Precup, Marius L. Tomescu, Stefan Preitl, Emil M. Petriu

Abstract

A stability analysis approach for the position control system of a nonlinear magnetic ball suspension system based on Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy logic controller (FLC) is suggested in this paper. LaSalle;s invariance principle is employed resulting in an original FLC. The proposed FLC the global asymptotic stability of the fuzzy logic control system. Samples of simulation results with different initial conditions concerning the ball’s position and speed are provided included to validate the theory.

Keywords

digital simulation, fuzzy logic controller, LaSalle's invariance principle.
